Kari has 10+ years of experience providing compassionate mental health care to adults, children, and families. Kari specializes in helping those with tic disorders and ADHD, and works from a neurodiversity affirming framework. Having both personal and professional experience, she is passionate about supporting and uplifting the neurodivergent community. Kari is trained in various modalities to treat a wide range of mental health concerns, and provides a tailored approach for each individual client’s needs.
She has received specialized training to provide CBIT(Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Tics), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), Aut-play (neurodiversity affirming play approach), and ADHD treatment/consultation. Kari holds a certification as an ADHD certified clinical services provider and offers a comprehensive ADHD assessment. Kari enjoys working with marginalized populations, and empowering them to embrace their identity and enhance their quality of life. She works diligently to provide an inclusive, affirming, and safe space, for EVERY client she serves. Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and her interests include gardening, painting, crocheting, advocacy, and trying her hand at sourdough baking.
