Holly is a born and bred Buckeye, (go Bengals!), who also has a love for the beauty of Kentucky especially the Appalachian region. She obtained a Masters degree in Education as well as a Rank I Certification as a Reading and Writing specialist from the University of the Cumberlands. Holly taught Elementary grades, as well as Middle School Language Arts, in Knox and Whitley Counties. She also served as an Academic Team Coach. After moving from Whitley County to Lincoln County, she changed careers to work as a case manager and now has her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. In her private time, Holly can be found spending Saturday mornings on the road doing rescue transports for Kentucky Mutts. You’re also likely to find her with her nose in a good book, spending time outside, or watching classic movies on TCM.
