Allison Poynter

Hello. I am Allison Poynter. I was born and raised in Pulaski County. I currently live in Eubank, Kentucky. I am a 2022 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Veteran Studies, graduating with honors. I spent the last seven years within the Pulaski County and Somerset Independent School Districts, working with students of all grade levels which led me to obtain my Master of Teaching. I enjoy working with children, they are all unique in their own individual way and I love to see how they learn. However, I recently made the decision to change paths and I am now obtaining my Masters of Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. I am a proud mother of three beautiful children, two very handsome boys and one sassy, strong-willed little girl. They keep me busy with football, basketball, baseball, softball, gymnastics, and pageants. I am very blessed to be a part of their activities whether it be coaching them in baseball/softball or being team mom during football season. When we are not doing sports, we all enjoy traveling to different places. We all have a thrill for amusement parks. In my free time, I enjoy playing coed softball with my friends and family. Softball has always been a passion. I grew up playing softball every year with the Pulaski County Little League and went on to play softball throughout my school years. I was very blessed to be a part of the Pulaski County Lady Maroons as a middle schooler from 2007-2008 on the junior varsity team and then the varsity team from 2008-2012 before I graduated. I am honored to be apart of the Quest family. I look forward to working with our clients and helping serve our community.
